We’re Still Here

As you may have noticed, this site is basically a resource page directing you to the Open and Affirming process, if your congregation is starting it or if it is looking to consider going through it. The Resource tab has plenty of places to learn how to make this discernment process an exciting and beneficial experience for your church. Also, David Bocock, the pastor at the Cresskill Congregational Church and point of contact for Been Waiting for You, can still be reached to help connect you with a mentor to help shepherd your church through this process.

Also, this site and its links have been updated as of October 1, 2019. If you find a broken link or link more information would be helpful for you, please contact David Bocock to help make this site look and be the best it can.

The ONA process is a wonderful conversation, even if it is a bit controversial too. You will get a great opportunity to better understand faith journeys, the Bible, and learning how to apply God’s call to love the “least of these.” If you have any questions, please contact David Bocock at bo@cresskillucc.org or by calling his church directly at 201-568-0608. Also, the NJ Association can be helpful although chances are good they may redirect you back to us. Ha! It’s all good.

We’re praying God’s blessings to you in this amazing journey.
